I have the same problem, i can only play half a computer game, learn half a song for guitar stuff like that. I like all these things
but keep swapping and changing and don't ever seem to complete anything. Dont think its add though. Try to excercise for half an hour before trying to read again , it might clear any thoughts clouding your ability to relax and take in new information.

i think u r not having books of your choice.
go to a good library and check out new books
begin with short stories only those which u like
dont be stressed and enjoy reading.

doesn't mean you have ADD... maybe the books that you thought you would like are just boring. and maybe you like to read, but not books. some people prefer magazines.
