You can do it for less than $100. There are online companies like this one: http://www.incfile.com/ that can do that for you, or you can do it yourself by visiting your state's "Secretary of State" or Commerce" web site .. here is a link that lists them all:

The cash needed to RUN a LLC will depend on the business..

Very simple. Alot simpler than setting up a corporation. You would need about 1,000 dollars cash( filing documents, Franchise Tax- $800 due in short after organization. File Articles of Organization with your county, DBA if needed and start running your enterprise.
