I understand most of the computer hardware stuff, but this does not make sense to me. I know this is refering to timing, but when people are talking about ram, and i am looking to buy some what does 2-3-5-6 mean?

If you want the really complex explanation of it, go ahead and do the reading that some of the other people explained. But to make it simple, the first number is the most important (2) and make sure you get the lowest one you can.

Ram is Random Access Memory. It is the memory you are using when you do applications and play games. If your computer is slow it is because you don't have enough memory to run all your applications and programs. It is a clip-on chip that goes in a place in your hard drive. Just snaps in. You can purchase more ram according to the instructions on your personal pc. You probably want to get at least 1 ghz with all the stuff they have now to play and use.

Good luck
