Iam 5'7. I wear jeans that are 32 * 30. and i sorta appear short. Would wearing jeans 32 * 28 make me look shorter or taller? I never find the 28 inseam in stores. I only find it online but i dont like buying clothes online because you only see it on screen, u dont get to feel or touch. So what do u think, longer or shorter? i usually wear boot cut types of jeans, not the baggy ones or carpenter.

The Right Jeans for You!! Tips for Specific Body Styles:

Petite
A pair of straight legs, worn on the long side, to help give you a
taller silhouette. Styles that are fitted and close to the body will elongate your appearance. Don't be afraid to accentuate your curves. Low waist jeans or hipsters are great as long as they don’t make your legs appear shorter. Stretch jeans are great for your figure.

Short Legs
Stay away from patchwork designs that break up your silhouette and make you appear shorter. No Capris here…Elongate your legs in full-length jeans with crosshatch fabric. Jeans with contrasted side seams or thigh creases also help elongate your legs.

Dress in one color, complete with a thin belt. One color from top to bottom will give the impression of length... even if it's not there.

Long, luscious legs. Wear high heels to add length and shape. Choose pointed-toe shoes to make legs look longer. Wear dark solids like black, navy and gray, avoid pleated pants. Choose flat-front styles instead. For summer, buy skirts that fall above the knee. Make sure clothes fit, not baggy, not clingy. Get a tan and shave your legs! Bronzed legs look slimmer and sexier, and smooth legs make you feel like a goddess!!

longer, definitely, just try not to put on jeans that go like tubes or that end really tight like it was used years ago. Don't wear them up to you chest either, let them fall and if they are tighter in the knee part and fall around your shoe, then it makes a longer impression. good luck!

ya boot cut jeans make ur legs appear longer. anyway the jeans should be as long as the mid part of the heel of ur shoe. so if u r wearing boots or stilletos it should go till the mid part of the heel.

dont buy short jeans!! if you go with a nice fitting, straight leg denim, it will give the illusion that your legs are longer. add a nice blouse with a jacket and some nice stilettos and it should look great. go to your tailor and have him/her measure your right size. remember, you have to give the illusion of it, not change the size of your jeans! short jeans will just look like you cant afford new jeans.

Go longer, but with darker material that fits perfectly and make the hem skim the ground.
