i have way too many stupid rules at my school about my dress code. help me!!?

i can't wear julery, die my hair, wear makeup, wear different colored socks(besides white), and i can't wear different colored shoes. I have a uniform, and if i do anything to the clothes, i get in trouble. PLEASE help me.

All the issues that you raised are the reasons that your school has uniforms. No half naked girls, and a clean up demand on the males.

Who is wearing what and how much it cost is a detraction and brings on atmospheres that are not supportive of the learning environment.

Why do you feel that nature did not give you beautiful hair? Instead of worrying about putting man made crap into it, why not brush it with a Boar Bristle Brush? 50 strokes on each side of the head, every day! Your hair will shine, feel very very soft and have no split ends.

Why do you think that so many occupations put their workers in uniforms?

Let us first understand that every school has some rules for instilling discipline among its students. No one will object if you do things outside the school, like for instance when you go to a party.

Any good institution or workplace has its rules. They are meant to be obeyed if you are a member.
I know you won't be able to like this.

Unjust rules working to the detriment of a majority of the students can always be brought to the notice of the school management.

Quitting this school and joining some other school is not a solution that will work. Even the new school will have some "stupid" rules.

Just follow the rules, even if you don't like them. I think this way you will help yourself, by getting used to them over a period of time.

You might as well get used to going by some rules, because when you get out into the real world, there are a lot of them. Everyone else has to dress this way, why shouldn't you?

Just do as you are told. You don't spend your whole life in school, and are free to dress as you like outside of it.

Try to enjoy your friends and enjoy your school days. They will be over before you know it!

The dress code makes the playing field level for everybody.
With a dress code, nobody can show off fancy clothes, or be embarrassed because they don't have fancy clothes.
Nobody can dress like a slob or like a s--t.
BTW, what is julery? Did you mean jewelry?

ya i went through the same thing. my school also had a bunch of stupid rules too. u just have to accept it. other kids r doing the samething. don't worry u can always dress up after school or on the week-ends when u r hanging out with ur friends.

drop out or jus be thankful you don't go to a boarding school in Jamaica or some **** like I did. This doesnt sound like a real problem. Be an individual after school. Let your personality speak for itself anyway- dont buy your personality at hot topic or abercrombie.

Either conform, or do your best to get kicked out. Do you really want to be suffocated with these rules? If now, then try for a public school, if you aren't at one now. Or you can write up a petition and have all the students sign it if they want a change. Good luck!

l think of the fingertip rule is stupid. yet some ladies are tryhards with gruesome fat legs that no person needs to confirm who nevertheless attempt to 'prepare them off' in short shorts. i'm large with maximum regulations nevertheless.
