i have been losing weight for dieting and exercising. i just notice that lately my menstrual flow is not as much as before, is there any connection?

Yes, there is a connection between size of a woman and menstrual flow. I don't know whether you have ever noticed it or not but the periods in fat or healthy girls start earlier than those girls which are very slim and skinny.

That really depends on the person, but I have found it that when I work out, my periods are do not last as long. I don't think its from losing weight, but working out helps the menstural flow which makes it shorter and for me, less painful!

yes, an increase or descrease in weight as well as increase or decreas in exercise and food intake can affect your menstrual cycle and cause it to be lighter. this has happened to me and it is very common dont be alarmed.
