You have an actual accounting of the world's oil? Strange, I have been studying geology most of my adult life. Worked for and with oil companies, keep up with current research and know that your first statement is false. I am also not a guy. I wish to remind you of a vice-president we had for 8 years who is running around the country promoting pseudo science. Al Gore did nothing to advance technology (despite his claims of inventing the Internet) concerning energy sources. Nothing. He still is doing nothing, because he would rather get attention than face reality. The US alone has huge petroleum caches that are not being used. We have the technology to extract vast amounts of oil from oil shale. We are not using this, because the environmentalists spread false information concerning the harm this would do stopping development of refineries and the oil cartel has a political hold on both the Democrats and Republicans in office. What are you doing personally to fix what you indicate is such a terrible state of affairs? What research have you funded, done, supported? What great sacrifice have you made? Is calling the Pres. of the US an idiot your one skill in life? When you can express yourself with some dignity, come back on line and ask a pertinent question.

well keep in mind the U.S. is not the only country in the world. i don't see many other (especially 3rd world) countries building solar energy plants en masse. with the exception of Europe/AUS/NZ we do far more to promote sustainable energy than anyone else. and actually, he HAS made developing alternative energies a priority, read his state of the union addresses. on top of that, nothing was stopping Clinton from doing the same, but he didn't exactly seem in a big rush..

Sorry, but that is "if" someone actually knew just how much oil there is in the world. Which no one does.
That is "if" oil is a fixed commodity and cannot be replaced. As I understand oil and natural gas comes from decaying plant and animal life. Considering we continue to have more and more people and those people continue to die it is only natural that those will begin to decay and thus eventually begin to form natural gas and oil.

you haven't figured out their master plan yet? they fully intend on using up all of the worlds oil supply and then when they are all out they will have a little bit left for the people with enough money, slowly killing off all of the poor people, and then a new technology will come along that will save them all, actually it isn't a new technology, but anyways that will also be to pricy for the people who don't make enough money for them and it will kill millions if not billions of more people off because they cannot afford to heat their homes and afford other necessities to get by, anyways that is just what I see happening
