To start off, let me say that I do study astrology, and while I know this coupling does not normally fair well, no matter the answer I am going to give this relationship a chance.
I am a Pisces woman, and have just recently started dating a Sagittarius man. All of the books I have found have given me nothing but doubt in my mind, and I want to hear some of the stories from people who know someone, or have themselves, experiences this match.
What I do NOT want, is answers from a book, I've read the books, I know what the books say, I want to hear about actual people.

sagittarius and pisces is an odd combinaiton, but definately not uncommon. I know this is not quite the same, but im sag, and my best friend is pisces, my sister is sag and her best friend is pisces as well. There is no astrology book around that will give positive remarks about this combo, but I feel there is something there. First, sag and pisces are both mutable, and I have said before, signs in the same category(fixed, mutable and cardinal) are often attracted to each other. Sag and pisces are said to be the 2 most imaginative signs in the zodiac,. They can make each other laugh and can have long converations about virtually any topic. That being said, it is a difficult combination to sustain, we do get on each others nerves. sag's are blunt, which will no doubt hurt your feelings. You are emotional and sentimental which may irritate sag sometimes. sag may get frustrated at pisces lack of ambition and motivation, pisces will get mad at sag's lack of empathy and "i told you so" lectures. However, if you have a strong fire influence in your chart, or he has a strong water influence in your chart, this should help bridge some of those gaps. Go for it, if nothing else, you will have some great times!

I'm a Sag, and I married a Pisces. We lasted about 4 years. The guy after him was also a Pisces, and that one didn't work out either.
I'm 0-2, but if you think the relationship stands a chance, then don't let the stars get in your way.

At first there will be tons of sparks..trust me. You'll find Sag man very interesting, fun, and friendly. But over time it will turn into more of a "friendship". Sag man cannot handle a Pisces woman, because Sag man is a flirty type of guy who craves adventure and hates standing still---and Pisces is more into the one on one romance thing...staying in, cuddling etc.
I have a Sag best friend (male) who is head over heels for me, always trying to "be" with me as more than a friend....and I love him to death, but could never ever feel more for him than just friendship, because I know him so well and I know how he acts (and let me tell you, he is a TRUE sag).
The sag will drive you nuts after a while, and there will not be the fireworks all of us Pisces so literallly expect in relationships

I have personal experience with this combination. I ended the relationship with my Pisces boyfriend and have spent the last forty+ years regretting it. As a Sag, I am open and want to know everything and expect others to be the same. My Pisces beau was very secretive and kept a lot to himself. On the plus side. He took me to wonderful places,laughed at my jokes, and was a good listener. I do so wish we had worked out our differences.

they are not compatible. Pisces is emotional and the sag loves to hurt the pisces feelings After a while the pisces gets tired of being around someone who does not understands her, and moves on to find someone who does. Talking from experience.

Hi, it is difficult. this relationship will lack passion. it will need effort on the part of both for it to work. being saggi i jknow how it goes. pisces will have other friends, interests to pursue.it is difficult to pin down pisces. if the saggi gy gives u freeedom and is confident of ur abilities then it may just work out , but it will require some other. definitely not a match made in heaven!

I'm just curious... horoscopes and birth signs.. aren't they just guides and not some rule you have to live by?
As you have said, your gonna give the relationship a try..just go for it.
life is too short to be wasting time on thinking whether your signs are compatible or not.
in love and life, everything is a risk. if it doesn't work it, charge to experience, if in the future you wont commit the same mistakes again

i am a pisces and i have had a
relationship with a sag or should i say tried too.it seemed like it was meant to be for a casual relationship and not a long term one because of compatibilty and after a while i felt myself grow apart from him fast,that spark wasnt there,i was always seeming like something was missing,he likes to be out more than the pisces too,so i say it doesnt hurt for giving your relationship a try but i know from my experience it wasnt too good for me,i found myself having a deep attraction phisically but not emotionally for the long run,i can say 1 good thing with a sag you will not get bored,if he can handle your feelings of being so sensitive and him not being so harsh hey you never know it could work out.

books ask you to beware of the characteristics that may clash in this match but you can change to even these things out. eg. pisces more emotional while sags more insensitive (not a bad way) but if he says something true but might be a bit hurtful.. you just gotta accept it as him and be less sensitive about it.
learn to cope and improve.
i got friends of this pair and they just love each other to bits!

Both of you are rules by Jupiter which stops for going against the yardsticks of relaionships. Be hones to each other the ruling planet will provide long lasting relationship.
