I'd want to know why - unless I already know of course!! I would want to work it out but at the end of the day if my partner had thought about this and didn't want to change their mind I would let them go - marriages are hard enough when both of you actually want to be there - when one of you doesn't it is jst impossible

Well i would ask why such the change of heart . I know for a fact that sometimes i like to pick my stuff up and run but, It's life that gets in the way. I mean you guys had to love each other at one time. I would get all the details that you could cause life is so short you never know what can happen next. So i would really sit down and try to work out this marriage the best way that you can and, if that don't help turn it over to GOD because what God put together no man take a part. Good Luck and God bless you.

First, I would want to know why, they would want a divorce, but if you are happy, I dont see why not working things out. If you are not happy then I would say wheres the divorce papers.

I would ask why? What's the reason they want a divorce? And better yet.. do you want a divorce?? In my case, I would want to work it out because my husband is awesome! Each case is different though, hard question to answer!

Just say i feel that way too (he'll totally feel as if he's the one who's dissapointing you....ha3) and say it's time we talk and solve things.
Say no matter what you still love him, even though he's yada2 (Bad and crazy and all)
If he's serious just ask him why n if u think its logical .... loose the worthless spouse of yours who doesnt appreciate who you really are

I'd say: "Sometimes I feel like that too. What's going on?"
Then, I'd listen without interrupting or defending or attacking.
If your spouse starts demanding, suggest that you sleep in separate rooms and talk about it in the morning.

It depends on what's happened in the marriage before you got to this point.
If it came out of nowhere..... I would talk to him about what happened.
If it's been coming for a while....I would talk to him to see if you both want to try counseling first.

I would be ecstatic with my pen in hand and ready to sign! But I'm in a different situation of already being miserable - why drag it out? Because we have kids involved.
