I wouldn't. Pledge is a polish. A mild soapy solution weak in stregnth is okay. Don't use glass cleaner either. Many flat screens are soft, and could easily be damage by waxes, cleaners, or pressing on them hard to wipe them cleam. Don't soak it, just dampen it with a mild soap (dish soap) and gently rub until it's looks cleaner.

I wouldn't use pledge or any other furniture polish, most of these products contain an oil. It would be a good idea to get a cleaner made for computer screens, or I have used a glasses lens cleaner, and even a water and vinegar mix. Remember do not apply a lot of pressure while cleaning the screen is fragile. Good Luck, the water and vinegar mix I use is 3 parts water and 1 part vinegar. dampen a soft cloth, and wipe screen, then dry with soft cloth, should clean up nicely.

No! Don't put that oily junk on your screen. Are you crazy? Wipe it off with a soft cloth or with a diluted alcohol mix. You can pick up a DVD cleaner at Walmart that works great on laptops too. Try that....never put any household cleaner on the laptop screen though or you'll ruin it.
If you can't afford cleaner, which you should be able to if you can afford a laptop, then just use a very small amount of warm water on a non lint cloth, like one of your husbands ties or a silk pair of underwear.

If they are just the dry dust wipes there is no problem, just make sure the computer is switched off as you don't want any chance of static hitting anything it shouldn't.
If it is the glass wipes or any other wet wipe don't do it. To get things off a laptop screen use a little water (like 1 drop) and a course paper towel sheet. If it is stubourn or oily, use a little diluted glass cleaner (like 50% windex, 50% water) and a very soft cloth. Then let it completely dry before using the screen again.

You should use a very soft towel, like an old well-landered dish towel, clean and dry, spray just a little glass/all purpose cleaner on the towel, then wipe the screen going sideways, then going up and down.

NO! You have use a special cleanser for your screen. Walmart carries it in the electronics department or any Best Buy will also have it. It costs about 7 dollars and last forever.
