What kind of a tool bar are you talking about. If you mean a tool bar in your IE browser, then click the view button and then the tool bar -- it should have a check next to it -- you want to get rid of and it will disappear. If you mean a toolbar like the Google toolbar and the Yahoo toolbar, go into the control panel and open Add/Remove Programs. Then find and delete the offending toolbar from there. If it is not a spyware program masquerading as a toolbar, it should then be permanently gone.

you need to specify what tool bar you need to get rid of...if it is a yahoo tool bar...go up to the tool bar look for the pencil click the drop menu....click uninstall... as for anything else look for a manager type icon look for a uninstall ...hope this helps... if you just want it out of your way for a temp time go to top of browser click View...toolbars....uncheck the one you don't want then let drop down menu close...then reopen same as stated before but then click on Lock toolbar...again hope this helps

Put it in a garbage bag, and throw it out to the curb....

Ok, I'll be serious.

You have to uninstall it. Which tool bar is it? and what program are you using to access the internet?

Most toolbar has the option to disable them and also to unistall them!
If the particular one you have doesnt have option to unistall then you can check it Add and Remove Program!

best of Luck !

did you try iew-> tool bar and unchecking the one you don't want.

if it didn't come with the computer, like the regular ones and you have an installed one like yahoo or google, you'd have to uninstall it in your add/remove in the control panal. hope that helps.
