In Greek thought, there are three primary things

the GOOD
the TRUE
the BEAUTIFUL

and they are distinct -- the bad and false can be beautiful, for example.

So I think our lives bristle with the good and its opposite, the true and the false and the beautiful and the ugly. The ride of those qualities and opposites should make us wise.

If wisdom is also beautiful, you're certainly right that life is a beautiful ride.

My life didn't start out as a beautiful ride, thats for sure. But at the age of thirty I realized that enough of my life was waisted being depressed about the raw deal I was served and decided to take control of my own life. Now life IS GREAT!!!!!!

Not for all people or animals. Indeed probly not most. Just cause you were lucky enough to get "yours" doesnt mean life is a beautiful ride. I would advise that you go volunteer somewhere to get a grip of reality for those less fortunate than yourself. I would advise a Humane society or wildlife rehabilitation center because I'm very concerned about animal welfare.
