The fuzzy lops are so adorable. I really am not making fun, honest. Your rabbit is looking for reassurance that he is loved! It is an unusual concept, when you consider these animals are not considered to be self-aware. But it seems that the longer animals are in close contact with humans, the more they grow to be like us. This is not anthropomorphizing, because it is well-documented to happen. I do not know how long they can be expected to live, but the main thing is that they live well for however long we get to keep them.
God bless!

Aww, that is so cute. Bunnies are adorable. One of my friends had a fuzzy lop and he lived to be almost twelve years old. He even got along with her German Shepard and her cats.

He liked to be talked to and picked up and cuddled before he went in his cage for the night. All living creatures live healthier and happier lives with love and affection, so you could have your bunny a long time. Have a great night!

After all it is a rabbit - even we human are creatures enslved by habits.

I have seen a child that never slept unless the mother scolded it asking it to sleep. Habits form easily and die hard. Love is the strongest habit we can form!!

Hello, I have a hotot bunny and he requires goodnight kisses too. otherwise he goes all crazy all night and pulls his food bowl all over the cage, spilling the food everyware. bunnies live for about 8-10 years with a little more love....who knows?

because your baby rabbit feels comfort once you give him a goodnight kiss and then relaxation will follow. without relaxation it is hard to fall sleep because it is one of the requirements of that baby rabbit's body in falling asleep.

who's a wittle bunny....who's a bunny...srry, had to get that out of my system...um...breeder lops live 5-6 years unless you spay or neuter them early on then their life expectancy is increased...here's more info: http://www.petplace.com/small-mammals/choosing-a-lop-eared-rabbit/page1.aspx
and the other thing about why its able to sleep better might be (I'm jus guessing) because animals are alive as well as us...they have feelings and respond to things as we do...gl...

Maybe your rabbit is conditioned or maybe he just wants to be loved. When anything is loved it last longer!
