Mosquitoes do not inject blood when they bite. So, mosquitoes do not transmit the virus. What they do inject is an itch-inducing saliva that acts as a lubricant to aid blood extraction, but it does not carry the virus.

Is the mosquito a carrier of AIDS causing virus?
There is no concrete evidence to show that it is transmitted through insect bites.

The blood and virus are digested by the mosquito after feeding. When mosquitos bite, they do not inject previously injested/digested blood into their victim. They instead inject their saliva to make it easier to feed. The amount of HIV in saliva is extemely small in humans and cannot be passed via kissing or drinking after each other, so the probability of a very very small amount of saliva from an insect bite passing on the virus is extremely small (probably close to 1 in 7 billion).

Viruses are highly host specific and each type of virus requires a specific kind of host to carry out its life cycle. In case of AIDS, humanbeings are highly unfortunate because HIV loves only human body especially body fluids to grow and multiply. It can also infect certain kind of monkeys such as the Rhesus monkey and Green monkey.Even among the monkey species HIV cannot infect all the species. Mosquitoes body conditions are highly unfavorable for the growth and multiplication of HIV and hence they cannot act as carriers.

i think i have the answer..
as funny as it sounds... the AIDS virus simply dies off in the mosquios stomach...
that just goes to prove how good digestive system a mosquito has...
jokes appart.. the virus is unable to survive in the mosquito's stomach.. partly because the internal fluids that the mosquito produces kills the virus.. so i was right about the digestive system of a mosquito... ;-)
;-)
hope that answers your question...

simply, we are lucky.. but in future it could hapen that mosquitoes tranmit aids virus also. as of now, if the mosquito just bites a patient and bits another one very soon, there are more and more chances of the other getting aids.

Becoz AIDS virus makes humans as their host.... they cant survive in any other animals body except humans,,,
even if mosquito bites AIDS patient,,,,, when mosquito received infected blood ,,, HIV virus will die at that moment only.... hence i cannot be carrier of AIDS

The AIDS disease dies very quickly inside the mosquito!
It is theorically possible for it to happen but in the million to one type of odds!

u know that acquired immuno deficiency syndrome is caused by
a virus -human immuno deficiency virus.
viruses are regarded as a missing link between living and non living things.
it causes body degeneration of the host by genetic transformation.
so we can also regard hiv as a non living thing and it cannot be carried by mosquito
mosquito carries only living matter ,that is bacteria and other protozoa.

HI FRIEND! all virus have can survive only in very very exclusive conditions.for example if u put 1 Kg of AIDS virus in body of dog,cat or any other animal that particular animal will not die and can live normal.because condition in the animal is not favourable for aids virus(neither chemically nor genetically).THIS EXAMPLE IS ALSO APPLICABLE TO mosquito.similarly TMV(TOBACCO MOSAC VIRUS)can only infect TOBACCO PLANT BECAUSE CONDITION R FAVOURABLE IN TOBACCO FOR T.M.V, BUT IF tmv is injected on any other plant ,the particular plant will easily survive and it will not infected. I HOPE U HAD UNDERSTOOD THIS ANSWER.!!!!
