What i mean is atheists do not beleive in God because they cannot prove that God exists but at they same time they are incapable of proving that God does not exist

I am just asking a question...i dont have anything against atheists or any other religions for that fact. Most of my friends happen to be atheists and they are much better than most so called christians.
(most of you are using the argument that...lack of proof does not infer existence) bu thats not what i intended and i am not talking about unicorns....i guess it boils down to 'beleif' and your own choice...not some emprical\scientific proof.

If you believe, there is no need for proof. If you do not believe, there is once again no need for disproving.
No one knows either way - it is simply a matter of belief or non-belief - that's all!!

Even after KNOWING the existence, it is very difficult to prove.
So there is not question of disproving.... 'absence of proof cannot be proof of absence'.... is the only way to look at it...
There are some things which cannot be perceived without the needed medium of perception, like ear for sounds/music, eyes for colours/scenes etc... similarly only a deeper level of perception , beyond even the sense organs can help to perceive or experience the existence, and to prove it someone , that person also needs a similar level of perception...!

Atheists don't think God is real. Are you suggesting that because we can't prove God isn't real we should just believe in Him? I've got a problem with that and so should you. I don't believe in things I don't think are real? Do you believe in Unicorns? If you can't prove they don't exist you have to believe they do! Huh? That logic just doesn't work.
You are asking us to believe in a magical being just because you say it is real even though it is invisible, untouchable, and inaudible. If I have an invisible friend the burden of proof is on me to prove that he's real, not on you to prove that he's not.

Christianity is and there belief in the Holy Spirit, as a witness to all things is no proof in the existence of God.....i have a question for you Christians......can you prove that there is a god, with out saying...."read the bible" i grew up having the bible shoved down my throat, and i could not swallow it....i am fallowing the ways of the Wicca...I am comfortable with the Wicca and i choose to stay with it ....and as for you Christians, you people are always trying to convert everyone and in my opinion you people are the most pushiest and 2 faced people that ever held a bible or any other book .......one thing i can say about the Wicca .......we keep to our selves and we don't try to convert anyone ......we do not go from door to door pushing those stupid pamphlets, trying to cram B/S down everyone throats ....)O(

No one can proof that God doesn't exist because he does exist, if God didn't exist i wouldn't be here typing this at all so i know first hand what i'm talking about. God will never show his presence to unbelievers to prove them wrong because they will keep questioning God anyway. God has a responsibility with everyone who accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and saviour so for them alone shall he use his power and only to them shall his presence be known and never to unbelievers like atheist or other false religions

If you get any real, gung-ho atheists to respond, this is gonna be a busy site! Baby, you (we) know that we know that we know, but that does not mean anything to someone who satan has gotten hold of & ripped up their hearts and/or lives. In spite of their intellectual claims, it is all based on emotional response to negative stimuli. Untill they see for themselves, they will not, even cannot, understand. Just be loving & patient, and respond with the love of God to these people whenever you can. The rest is in God's capable Hands.

they have no proof, actually they are in illusion that great good god (as believed by believers) is not helping stop killing of innocent people with religion, race, poverty, depression, etc. isnt it ?
