SInce weed is illegal, I guess one could assume that it's because its health consequences are worse than the other two? But is that really true?

I've done all three and the only one I can't seem to quit is the cigarettes..so personally, I'd have to say they are the worst. As far as the other two, alcohol is far worse than weed. I've never heard of anyone dying in a car wreck because someone involved was high. Not to mention, if you ever were to get too high, what other drug's effects can you counteract with a pb&j sandwich and a glass of milk??!!

I think alcohol and cigarettes are definitely more dangerous. Keep in mind, there is a known fatal dose of alcohol and a known fatal dose of nicotine, but no one has ever been known to have died from an overdose of THC (the primary component of cannabis).

Besides, many people use marijuana as medicine -- who uses alcohol or cigarettes to cure anything (besides boredom, maybe)?

On the whole, I'd say that alcohol is the most dangerous because it can kill you very easily and very quickly (one evening). Tobacco can kill you, but it would take a lot of time and dedication to smoking cigarettes to get to that point (years, probably). Marijuana has never been known to kill anyone and it is not conclusively known what relationship marijuana actually has to cancer. It certainly has not been documented to the extent that tobacco has. Plus, marijuana has medicinal properties that may off-set its negative characteristics.

Cigarettes are probably the most hazardous to your health, but alcohol can be, too. Alcohol wrecks relationships, families, etc. Weed doesn't really have any negative effects besides short term memory loss.

I would have to say alcohol! It can have serious implications on one's health (physical & mental), family life, productivity, financial responsibilities, poor pedestrians or people in other vehicles that can be impacted,... need I say more?? I wouldn't worry about the other two!!
