basically, u simply add 273 to the temp. in degree celcius to convert it to kelvins.

so its 170 + 273 = 443 K

just remember + 273 and the convertion will be a breeze :)

some extra info (maybe to help you remember better)
kelvins is known as the absolute scale.
and -273degree celcius is known as "absolute zero"
-273degree celsius is actually 0 K after adding

0 degree Kelvin = -273degrees C
273 degree K = O degree C

170 Degrees C = 273 + 170 = 443Degree Kelvin

The zero point for the Kelvin scale starts at absolute zero... the Celsius scale starts at the freezing point of water...water freezes at 273 *K...so simply add 273 to *C

*K=*C+273...so 170*C=443*K(answer)
