What does the sales contract indicate?? Is your financing in order or is your lender having a hard time with the underwriters?? The people to ask are your loan officer and your real estate agent. The title company should be able to give you an idea, as they cannot close you until they have received documents from your lender. Those are the only people who really know the answer and they should be communicating with you, but sounds like they're not. That's not a good sign.

My crystal ball is broken tonight...sorry. Have you had an appraisal? Are all of your documents in? Has the file cleared underwriting? Are all of your loan conditions met? Has the property met the inspection standards? Have all of the terms of the purchase and Sale Agreement been fulfilled to the satisfaction of all parties? Do you have insurance on the place yet? Is the title clear? Are there any verifications that have not yet been done regarding employment or income? Do you have the funds to close? Sorry...not much help tonight...good luck.

As long as everyone is on the same page. If you get all the paperwork to your lender as soon as it is requested, everything else should fall into place....things like the appraisal and home inspection. Make sure you keep in touch with your Realtor and lender.....squeaky wheel gets the oil. Most important thing.......is to do your part and get the requested documents to the lender as soon as they request them. Good Luck

Depends mine closed in 21 days but I requested fastest possible closing was pre-qualified ....

It could be. My mother recenlty bought one and the closing wasn't supposed to be, before yesterday (Oct 21) but it was last week.
