For no more than they cost, you should get a card reader for what ever card that camera uses. The problem being, to up-load directly from any camera, you really need an ac/dc adapter cause of the battery drain time it takes to get the job done. With a card reader, your computer supplies the power via the usb port. Card readers cost about half what an adapter does.
