As long as you aren't piling on the trends or the prints, I think you'll do fine. If you're worried, try keeping the rest of your outfit clean and classic. That way, that sort of eye-catching accessory can really stand out, and you don't look like one of those mannequins in Forever 21, all twenty belts and sparkles and three necklaces.

I'd agree with a number of the other answers.
I think a small purse with animal print, with no other print, is classy way for you to stay stylish and trendy without looking like mutton dressed as lamb, go ahead... sounds purrrfect!

My mothers 45 and owns a clothing store for women in there 20's.
It's not too young.
My advice for your update- wear cool jeans like Citizens or True Religions (if you can afford them)
Try the skinny jean trend with boots or heels (avoid ballet flats)
Where the lose peasent tops that are in with cool belts, but dont attempt the 80's oversized shirt, legging fashion.

I admire you for observing that you aren't twenty anymore and should dress for your age, but the good news is that the days of looking like Aunt Bea are over!!! Yea!!! Yes, make modifications and look classy at 41. You don't want to look like you are trying to recapture the twenties. But, I think you can have a few fun and trendy accessories. So, dress for your age (and today the thirties, forties, and decades beyond still allow us to be fashionable), and have a bit of fun with your accessories.

Oh my gosh,those things are so cute! They can be sophisticated if worn with fancy clothes. But you can wear it in casual wear too.Animal prints can be worn by teen to adult.You'll look fine.Since you're a mother and 41 yrs old animal prints will bring a youthful yet sophisticated look.

Maybe, but I'd have to see you and it to really be a good judge! It really depends on the style of purse, but I would venture out to say ...yes, it would be too young for you!

heck no leopard purses are a great accesory for anyone of any age....now if you start lookin at the hot pink leaopard skin tight pants...we'll have to say no lol
