The Colosseum, so named for the nearby Colossus Neronis: 37-meter-high bronze statue of Nero placed just outside the entrance of Nero's Domus Aurea. Built in imitation of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the 7 wonders of the world. Hadrian later moved it to the Flavian amphitheater a.k.a Colosseum.

well, it is a controversy, but the fire of 64ad in Rome is blamed upon Nero. most of the city was destroyed. the Colosseum was hit by the fire. Nero then rebuilt the city, including a beautiful new palace for himself.

I would safely say that since the Colosseum was burnt and the Arch of Titus & Temple of Fortuna Viritis are so close together and roughly 90% of the city burnt in this fire that lasted more than several days.... that all three of these buildings were burnt.

there is more information in the links below.

Who is "we"? The average person who gets ideas about Rome from the movies and television might indeed say the Colosseum, even though
it didn't exist till 10 years after Nero died.
A history specialist might say the Golden house is better.

The golden house for sure. No one has ever or will ever throw parties like Nero. Ever. I think his greatest legacy is giving everyone that's ever thrown a party a standard to live up to (even if they don't know it since they don't know anything about history.)

i believe that it is the coliseum, because nero supposedly did nothing to stop Rome, and, the coliseum, from burning, while he was, in the legend, playing the violin or some other such activity.
