I had a (-) PT before I started Provera. Now I think i'm Pregnant. I'm scared it will harm the fetus. Does anyone know what kind of problems this could cause to my baby?

Depo provera can cause birth defects if it was given during the first trimester of pregnancy... but i don't think so if given before getting pregnant- just make sure you get another test done before getting another shot. The kinds of defects taht it can cause are things such as low birth weight and premature birth. Sometimes, there are more severe defects that you can look up on their site. But I would take antoher test again... good luck.

It can cause miscarriage. It CAN affect the fetus.
