First, get rid of the fractions by multiplying by 6. I'm choosing 6 because it's divisible by all the denominators in the equation, 2, 3 and 6.

You get 2(x-5) - 9 = 4x + 7.

Multiply out the left side:
2x - 19 = 4x + 7
Rearrange so all terms with x are on one side, and all other terms are on the other side:
-7 - 19 = 4x - 2x
Combine like terms:
-26 = 2x
Divide by coefficient of x:
x = -13

first element you opt to do is do away with your fractions. start up by way of multiplying the two sides by way of 6. you employ 6 as a results of fact this is the least common distinctive of two, 3, and 6 (your 3 denominators). once you multiply by way of 6, you will get: 6(x-5)/3 - (6*3)/2 = 6(4x+7)/6 formerly you do any multiplication or dispensing, shrink your fractions, and you gets: 2(x-5) - 9 = 4x + 7 Then use the distributive assets on the left section and get: 2x - 10 - 9 = 4x + 7 combine like words and you get: 2x - 19 = 4x + 7 Then, pass your x's to one portion of your equations your numbers to the different. you will finally end up with: -2x = 26 Divide the two sides by way of -2 and get that your answer is x = -13 in case you opt to make certain your answer, positioned -13 into the unique equation and confirm you get a real fact. be careful, the respond above (-11.5) isn't perfect!

(x-5)/3 -3/2 = (4x+7)/6
taking the Least common multiple on the left side,
( 2(x-5)- 3(3) ) /6 = (4x+7) /6
cancelling out the denominator, 6, on both sides,
2(x-5)-9 = 4x + 7
=> 2x -10 -9 = 4x +7
bringing the 'x' terms to one side, n the numbers to the other side,
=> -10 -9 -7 = 4x-2x => 2x = -26 => x= -13

(x-5)/3 -3/2 = (4x+7)/6 ,Multiplying all the terms of the equn. by 6 we get, 2(x-5) -3*3 =(4x+7) => 2x-10-9= 4x+7 => 2x-4x=7+9+10 => - 2x= 26 => x= 26/-2 =-13 ans

this is simple(i'm a student of std.10).
(x-5)/3-3/2=(4x+7)
simplify the left equation by cross multiplication.
ie, (2x-10-9)/6=(4x+7)/6
= (2x-19)/6=(4x+7)/6
12x-114=24x+42
-114-42=24x-12x
12x= -156
x= -156/12
=13
therefore, x=13

well its pretty easy
(x-5)/3-3/2=(4x+7)/6
multilying left side with 6
(x-5)2-9=(4x+7)
then multiplying left 2 with(x-5)
2x-10-9=(4x+7)
and afterwards normal addition & subtraction
-2x=26
X=-13
And here u r with the perfect answer!!!!!!
Cheers!!!!!!!!
