Yes you can, although technically it is not a "real period" since you would not be shedding the uterine walls. You can continue to bleed but it would not be the same as a regular period before pregnancy.

Women cannot menstruate while they are pregnant. It's true that some women experience "spotting" while they are pregnant. It is not unusual to have some bleeding during the first trimester of a pregnancy. Occasionally, some women "spot" throughout a pregnancy.
Spotting is a little bit of bleeding that happens at a time other than during a menstrual period. A woman who experiences this will often notice a couple drops of blood in her underwear when she was not expecting her period.
However, bleeding that happens during pregnancy can also indicate a problem — such as a possible miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy in the fallopian tubes). Pregnant women who experience any spotting or bleeding should talk to their clinician. A medical professional can determine whether it's minor or a symptom of a serious problem.

A real period, no. Spotting that mimics a period, yes.
But usually women can tell the difference. The spotting isn't (usually) enough to use a tampon with, and doesn't always cause cramping like a real period does.
If you are pregnant and are bleeding, you need to contact your dr for further instructions.
If you think you are pregnant, then my best advice would be to just bite the bullet and take a test.
Good luck!

Yes and no. Yes for those it happens to and no for those who are lucky enough to not have it happen to them. I have a sister who still menstruated until she was about 7 months along (she found out she was pregnant around 5 months when the kicking became alot more obvious, she had thought for awhile it was gas) It wasn't as heavy a flow though according to her but still present. So my answer is YES it can happen... and my nephew came out healthy if that answers any futures questions.
Also speaking from my personal experience, During pregnancy if you have some abnormal bleeding patterns get it checked. I developed a condition called placenta previa with my third child and that caused period like flowing.
When in doubt ask a doctor of sorts, and make sure they know what they are talking about.

I am a guy taking it from the experiences of my 3 children and their mother, YES, you can still have your period. If you think you might be pregnant you need to visit a OB/GYN ASAP! If you dont have insurance or are underage or if this was unplanned i would suggest you visit a clinic in your local area. They will help you with getting a blood test to determine a definite answer. Then you can find out in the "spotting" (<--- that's what it is called) is something to be worried about.
