These stuffed animals werent just puffins/penguins. but they had them in every kind of animal you can think of, bears, monkey, turtles, dogs, cats..etc..and they had legs but no arms. ANY body know what im talking about or where i can GET THEM please email me or comment me back. I typed in "puffin" under google & all i get is stupid bird links. haha i know im crazy, but please help

well puffins are penguin like animals and they're really funny that might be the reason why that keeps on coming up. There is a website that sells stuffed animals that is called www.puffins.com but I'm not sure if It's what you want.

This is what I thought of when I read your question.
if it was not these as they did have arms..
How long ago? if recent
..I belive there were Puffins out about the time of the beanie baby craze...I recall Halmark and other stores haveing them they were small with a keychain hook attached and then they came out in a lager size minus the keychain...
will look a bit more to see if I can find them...
