that sounds like a good amount that you already have there, especially with that many cichlids. I wouldn't add anything else.

You don't say what kind of cichlids they are...and that is very important as to what if any other fish can be added. Once these cichlids have established themselves in the tank, anything else that is added will be killed.

Cichlids are very territorial and do not tolerate newcomers to their tank. You might be able to add some Giant Danios, they swim in the upper level of the tank and the cichlids will not see them as threats to their territories on the bottom.

Make sure you have lots of hiding places for the cichlids to call home or you will have chaos and dead fish.

You also don't say what kind of frogs they are. If they are African clawed frogs, when they get big enough, they will eat everything in the tank that they can get into their mouths. If they are dwarf African frogs, they will probably be eaten by the cichlids (pronounced sick-lids) when the fish get big enough.

How big is the shrimp? Is it a ghost shrimp? He will be lunch for the cichlids or frogs in short order. Your sucker fish is probably a plecostomus and should be fine with the fish you have. He will, however, grow to be about 12-14 inches long and will produce more dirt than he cleans up.

just with my experience with African Cichlids from lake Mawali, cichlids will eat frogs and shrimps.....

with 55 gallon tank (which i wish i had) you can fit up to 25 or more variety of similar spieces of cichlids that you have right now. The thumb rule is that a fish per gallon... I know African Cichlids can grow up to 6 inches in length. I remember I had about 30 cichlids in a 38 gallon tank long time ago....

don't mix cichlids with different tropical fish because cichlids will eat them (most of them do) so do your research. :) good luck

once the the frogs, shrimp and sucker fish are gone, you may want to get some goldfish or something so the ciclids don't start eating each other. All the other stuff in the tank is considered food to the ciclids. They're very territorial and they're very aggresive.
