I was in school. So I didn't see it, but I could smell it in the air when I left.
(I live just outside the city, they let us go home early.)

Yeah, I had to be to work that day at noon. I woke up after the 1st plane hit and was watching it on fox tv live when it demolished. I turned to my wife and said "do you think anybody was in there"? Got to work and only 1 car was in the parking lot.

Yes, I was watching the Today Show when they went to a live shot of the towers soon after the first plane hit. I think this will be our generation's "Where were you when JFK got shot?".

actually i woke up around 11am and didnt have cable at the time. went to the library to check my email and saw it on yahoo...

i remember calling my mom and asking if i was still asleep and in a nightmare.
