It is entirely possible that you may have a benign tumor or cystic growth. This is really hard due to your situation and I know how awful medical bills can be, I would still advise that you find a way to get that checked out, you only get to live once. Sorry to sound so morbid about it, but do whatever it takes to take care of yourself... find a church or charitable organization or talk directly to a hospital, they sometimes will work pro bono (for free) depending on circumstance. That is part of the Hippocratic oath and to not uphold that when there is a legitimate documented need, would truly make them hypocrites. Good luck and I hope it is nothing serious!!!

The answer is yes
But what you describe could be nothing more than a cyst. If you are concerned check to see if their is a public health clinic in your city/state or go to the ER, in which they must treat you regardless of your ability to pay. You can always work out a payment plan.

A lot of these lumps are lipomas, just fatty tumors. But seeing a doc would be a good idea.

I have one too, Ive been wondering and only slightly worried, it could be a small fat deposit or just a usual bump that people sometimes get

maybe ask a doctor, but it could also be a calcium deposit, depending where it is located.
