after my turn indicator is turn off, I am getting ticking noise in the radio area of the dash, somtimes at a rapid rate then it slowes down until it stops. and then starts again when I indicate.

happens to a lot of grand ams. listen to me cause mine did the same thing, and i am right. its not the flashers, or a relay. its the whole wiper/turn signal control arm thats behind your stearing wheel. get a new one and it will stop. i promise. what happens is the points go bad after a while, and it starts to make that noise. it drove me crazy. but sinse i fixed it, hasnt happend once.

oh and its also a recall.

it is the emergency flasher switch in the dash. it is a very common problem on that car and is a recall item. take it to a pontiac dealer and it should be a free repair.

Its a recall fix, we had ours done last month, it started again last week. Take it to a Pontiac Dealer and he can fix it in about 2 hours.

it sounds like the turn signel relay you hear . has it been changed lately
