mp3 broke because of overheated battery, which cant be replaced because it is an internal one

Hmm... well it connected to my computer through a USB2 to USB wire, how would i go about attaching it without the wire, because i think in order for the comp to recognize the harddrive the harddrive itself needs power as well

if it is hard drive as you say, you can just attache it to your computer and it'll work.
but the type of cable and power depend on the type of that hard drive.
