i have been married for over 35 years and packing my husbands lunches for just as long. Do what i do. Sometimes i will make him a sandwich with a thin piece of paper in it that says, I love you, or if i am mad at him i over pepper it. little things like that sure keeps his attention.

Depends on your Husband's tastes..
How about a P & J cut in fourths (real Mommy stuff) Kinky? Try Pnut butter and bananas.
Or, left over roast beef, yes, even if if's cold, mean love beef...
Celery and/or carrot sticks (pre-measured lunch things, ranch, in stores}
Microwave popcorn, already waved.
A note is always a really, really good thing.
Panties in a lunch box is even better, he gets to show his friends...

A fun sandwich. You can get pretty creative with the unique breads and toppings out there these days. Oh and don't forget to include a little "I love you" note!
How sweet of you to pack his lunch. :)

I agree with flwrgrl. When I am ticked at my husband of 21 years I sprinkle metamucil in his tuna salad. On the good days he gets a thermos of pasta with marinara sauce or stew. Hope this helps!

Chef's salad!
Dump some bagged lettuce and some shredded cheese into a container and put some cubed pieces of ham, turkey, etc. on top.
Small container of fav. dressing on the side.
Customize to his taste.
