I'm into the 4th year of my relationship and there is still as much passion and excitement as when we first got together. Actually, maybe more. For me, I think it's because I completey trust in my partner and his love. The deeper we get know each other, the more trust there is. ALso, he has never stopped being romantic. For absolutely no reason he will regulary buy me flowers or a little surprise, or a picnic on my lunch break, candles and a glass of wine while we watch a tv show, a slow dance to a song on the radio in our ling room, etc. etc. I do these types of things also. And we both will work on passionate surprises as well. When one of us is planning something, we'll give the other one a hint several days before. Like a few days ago I told him that when he returned from his business trip I wanted to play "teacher's pet". He asked what that was and all I would tell him was that he'd have fun but he'd better pay attention, because there would be a test at the end of the evening. Trust me, he can't wait to get home. I think that most couples will have long lasting passion if the man remembers to be romantic and the woman makes herself be bold once in a while. Have fun.

Marriage isnt a fairy tale , its not a romantic novel, nor a romantic movie.. there are going to moments of great high's and great lows.. real love and honor to your marriage vows and the choices u made are what are going to see u through both, to just throw in the towel because it didnt meet up to ur expectations is ludicrist.. You need to realize, that u cant be romantic, passionate, and excitement 24/7, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.. ect ect.. its impossible.. but u cant have romance and passion and excitement on different occasions.. but to think that its going to be this giddy cloud 9 feeling the rest of ur life.. for both of u , is immature thinking.. theres going to be great days.. and theres going to be days that u just want to throw in the towel.. but marriage takes work from both partners.. and its never 50/50.. one day u may be working 80% towards ur marriage and ur husband 20% and on other days it may be reversed, the problems come in if the person doing the 80% is always doing the 80% .. but u both have to want to do special things for the other from time to time, u both have to realize that it takes 2 to survive a long healthy marriage.. but also realize, that most days are just mondane, and routine.. and ur just sharing a life together.. but u also control alot of ur own happiness.. u want passion, u want romance, then make it happen, why wait for him , create it urself.. show him how its done.. alot of guys feel once they have u , they dont have to keep courting u.. so they have to be shown that there is still romance, passion and excitment after marriage..
I say marriage , but even if ur in just a long term relationship, serious commited relationship.. its the same thing.. now its up to u on whether u want it forever or not..

End after a year or two? That certainly doesn't have to happen! I was married for 42 years, and the passion never wore off. My husband was always romantic, and I never stopped being romantic with him. We had a very close, loving relationship. Each of us did things to make the other happy, and in so doing, we were both happy. He was a trucker, and I would still slip love notes into his clothing bag. He loved to find them when he was out on the road. There were so many loving "little" things that we did. I'm going to stop here before my keyboard gets full of tears. (My wonderful husband died in a semi-truck accident 17 months ago).

New relationships are full of passion and excitement but to make that last longer dont do everything straight away. Dont have sex for a while. Make it worth the wait. Passion will never leave

The passion will stay but you have to work at it. Get creative. Different places, the kitchen table was my favorite. Be spontaneous. Do not take it for granted. Surprise him in sexual ways. It can stay real good, sweetie.

If you're both committed to keeping the passion going then you'll have passion.
It doesn't just happen....you both have to want to make it happen.
When you both make the effort it's wonderful.
You don't start a fire in the fireplace and then just leave it expecting it will stay lit forever.

i do no longer think of you ever might desire to lose interest. to assert that zeal in love wears off is like asserting that zeal for any pastime or track or artwork you like wears off too. specific, the buzz does placed on off, yet interest can basically lapse in case you permit it. i think of it extremely is possibly greater reasonable to assert that lust wears off. despite the fact that if, as long as you relatively love somebody, you will get merely as excited and enthusiastic approximately somebody you have been with for 10 years...merely like i'm nevertheless enthusiastic approximately reasons and pursuits i grew to become into enthusiastic approximately in my 20's.
