my dear friends, i accept your all advice. but now i am working in small development co., no body speak english in my office. so how to improve my fluency? and then my friends circle is also speak only tamil. becose we are in tamil medium. both side speak only tamil. meanwile how to speak english?

You can develop your English, in so many other ways. But, do not blames your friends who speak Tamil. In my opinion, a person who neglects the mother tongue and fails to master it is not going to completely master any other language. I always love to do well in my mother tongue, which is Tamil. Initially, I put my daughter in a Kendriya Vidyalaya. Althogh I had no complaint against the school, I removed her from that school, for the only reason that there is no Tamil taught in that school. If you master Tamil and become very conversant in Tamil, you can easily learn English also. That has been my experience. In olden days, many noted persons who made mark in English language and Sanskrit were good scholars in Tamil also. As regards your suggestions for improving your English, I advise you to join the British Council Library and seek their advice.

Watch a lot of TV programs that english is the languge. You'll catch on real quick. Good luck.

if u will keep on trying u will learn English as u don't have to get into the grammar portion & just wanna learn it to communicate.

Don't worry, "time and interest" will heal your fluency problems. Be patient and alert to that language. I adore your accent even in writing anyway.

Make frnds out side your community ... am a tamilian but most my frnds are not tamilians ... you should have a balance of both and encourage your frnds to converse in english ... helping you and helping themselves :)
