I need to know the easiest way to block websites.

if u want to do it manually,do it from internet options as explained by others. If u are a novice or u want to give different access to different users u can go for any s/w that helps u do so.

Open Internet Explorer -> Go to Tools -> "Security Tab" -> Restricted Sites -> Sites -> Add your website :)

In Internet Options, under the security tab. But you have to manually set the settings.

follow the directions on this site & you will be able to permanently block the ability to get around other blocking attempts of a site you don't want anyone to access.
You might want to consider setting up user accounts on your pc and giving internet rights and using blocking software like net nanny, cyber patrol and IRCA to further restrict internet surfing.

in internet explorer, select tools, internet options, security tab, restricted zones and add the host.
You can also edit your host file. see http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm for details.

changing the host file as anwsered above is your best bet...it will really totally eliminate that website....
