I love my kids and I wouldn't wish to be childless again for a minute. They say and do the cutest things that just make me laugh when I am having the worst day or I don't feel good.On the other hand, I feel that it is important to have some down time from your children. Being around them 24/7 can be draining and I have to admit that finding ways to entertain them all the time can sometimes get boring. It's good to spend some time by yourself every now and then and not to feel guilty about it. I appreciate your honesty and I hope that you are just needing a break. : ) Regrets are too much burden on the soul.

I have 4 children one in college and 11,12 and 13.It is at times the hardest job Ive ever had but by far the best one also.I have learned from my children to slow down and smell the roses along the way,the house that just had to be cleaned before all else will wait for a rainy evening because after work and dinner were going to the haunted corn maze LOL

I was 38 when my son was born. He is my only child. When I was young, and married, we just enjoyed our life and didn't want to have kids. At 37, I was surprised to learn that I was pregnant. His father has not been in our life and has never seen his son. Part of me wishes that I could have had my same son when I was younger, but maybe being older was better for me. I don't second guess. I wanted my son from the very beginning. It has been tough sometimes being a single Mom, especially when I had to contend with day-cares. It has been worth it and he is a joy, most of the time.

NEVER! My first marriage ended after 19 very unhappy years, but if I hadn't been with that particular partner I wouldn't have had the exact same two absolutely fantastic children that I have, and who are now 30 and 28 and love their father --- yep, that's me --- just as much as I love them! With kids, it just gets better and better, and if you feel you regret having had them, believe me, they will SENSE IT and possibly begin having behavioral difficulties, so that the feared or undesired "bad" part of having them will come true as a function of what is called a "SELF-FULFILLING PROPHECY"!

NO. They have always been a blessing to me. You have to be mature and raise them with values and you need a good dad to help And maturity and lots of patience.
Some kids are harder to care for than others and they do test us. Real self centered people are probably better off without children. Some spoil their kids too much . Theres so many factors to consider. Babies are helpless and need Mature parents to love and guide them.

I am a single mother of a 10 year old and have been single since day one. Never for a minute have I regretted it! I know what your thinking, of course there have been times that I've thought "why me"? But, that thought goes as fast as it came. I don't know where I'd be without my daughter, but not as happy, I'm sure of that!

I wish I had of waited to have my boys...but I wouldn't trade them for anything in this world. The timing was bad...but in a way I'm glad it was because I've learned a lot being a parent and I love my two little boys so much...they've taught me more about life and myself than anyone else...except maybe my mom.

I never had kids. I decided very young not to have any. Regrets...None. If I want to be around kids,I go to my brothers. He has 2. I play with them and go home. I feel I have the best of both worlds. I don't have to put-up with sick,(maybe) misbehaving, pouting, wanting kids. I go there (I'm their favorite Aunt) and leave when the going gets ruff! LOL

If you are having regrets, perhaps you should call someone in to take over foir awhile...clergy, family, friends...It can all be a little undaunting at times, but they are truly the innocent ones. Don't make them suffer for wrongs that were not their choice.
