You will pay for it one way or the other. You leave yourself open to tons of SPAM and from what you say, you would be applying for a discovery card (which would count against your credit rating), and you would be signed up to buy DVDs and CDs.
This could also be baloney - phishers looking to get your credit card numbers.
Better you save your pennies and buy from a reputable dealer. You can always look for refurbished and free shipping.

there an old saying which states;if it sounds to good to be true then watch out ;you get nothing for free there's a price you pay one way or another,it's what called caught 22,which means you have to do something or purchase something before you can get the laptop read the total commitment you have to make before they give you anything
