how do I find the answer to my question?

This is my first time seeing this, I am trying to learn how to use it. Yahoo is telling me that no one can send me email, I am asking how I can set up to receive the emails? and how and where to find the answer?

It's very simple.

When you ask a question, you get the "ask" webpage.

There are 5 fields as below.

1.Enter your question
2.Add details (optional)
3.Categorize the question
4.Email notification
5.Communications

In the Email notification field there's a checkbox. Check it and submit the question.

When someone has answered your question you'll get email notifications from Yahoo. This method is totally safe since the answerer has no idea about your email address.

e-mail will not go to your inbox (or at least it shouldn't) unless you have at one time communicated with the individual or company. If a friend writes, but his/her address is not in your address book, it will go to bulk mail. If you are new to Yahoo, did you set up an address book?

If you were receiving mail but suddenly are unable to, have you filled your allotment of space? Have you cleaned out the bulk folder, trash ... Did you opt to save a copy of all e-mail sent in the "sent" folder? Check that out.

When you receive e-mail from someone you want on your address list, there will be an option to "save to address book." Just click the link.

"Yahoo" will send you a notice of an answer. They don't want you giving out emails here to protect you.

people just answer your questions & you can be notified through email, if you wish. There's a little box when you post your question.
