It's been a few weeks since I watched the show, but I had thought that he (Shakespear) didn't make it. But, I also thought it had something to do with defending someone's babies, not the bite. Hmm... did you try going to Animal Planet's website and looking the show up to get updated on Shakespear's progress?

I'm 26, and I love watching the show. There's a lot of good shows on Animal Planet, though. Like "Animal Miracles" hosted by Alan Thicke, and all the Animal Cops shows, and I also like "Emergency Vet."

No, I would think that anyone with small cute pets at home would love "Meerkat Manor". I didn't know Shakespear dissapeared must have missed that one, but hey, I don't think they're getting rid of characters. Most of the people I've been talking to are convinced the show will have a nice long run so cheer up ok?

Haha, no, I'm over 21 and I have Meerkat Manor TiVo'ed! LOL. You know, I've been wondering what happened to Shakespeare too and I don't think they ever showed what happened to him. I'm assuming since he hasn't been in any of the episodes that he had died =(

Nope, my sister loves to watch the show...but she hasn't watched it in a while, 'cuz my parents got rid of the channel :( So, I'm hoping Shakespeare didn't die of puff adder poisoning. She loves Shakespeare.

Yes it appeals to all ages. The only thing I don't like is when one is living as an outcast, it gets covered with ticks because he has no one to groom him. That is kinda hard to watch. They never -did say what happened to shakespear only that he was never seen again after the attack of the rival gang when he was watching over Flowers pups.
