The new verizon commercial where he's just a simple store employee that talks like a regular white guy... nothing more.

what happened to him?

Haven't seen his new commercial. He's just not funny anymore. It seems to be that comedians are a fad that only last one or two years before they're just not funny anymore, and his are up. His lost episodes stunk, so that probably was just the nail in the coffin.
