Just because most don't have memory of our Original Incarnation on Earth, doesn't mean it didn't happen. Just because many have no memory of other lives they've lived, also doesn't mean it didn't happen. The Akashic Record is Life's History everywhere, but you can read a small portion of it and focus just on Earth's history, if you like. How can you access these Records that are there for all who like to read the Truth? Well, you ask for help from folks like Mother Mary, Mohammed (if you're Muslim) and Others who access this kind of Truth all the time. Mankind writes historyoften according to his whims, hiding much of the truth, so you can't depend on man's interpretation of anything. I trust these Ancient Beings not to lie to me about anything. Their lives demonstrated the opposite of evil. I know they are good and they love to help. If you want their help, ask them. It is NOT hard to reach them. You are definately guided by them, otherwise you would not be asking such a good question. It means you have heart, a seeking mind that can actually know the answer to all things you ask. Love is the One Basic Reason for Life, but it has to have direction. Meaning, it has to have purpose that is Conscious, not accidental. I say this because so many still question whether there is anything outside this realm of consciousness. If you could know the vastness that surrounds you, then you would know what some call God, you would know what God calls Truth. This Ancient Wisdom is the fountainhead that gives purpose to All Life Everywhere, not just on our planet called Earth. It is the Supreme Ruler, the Supreme Author of All things Good. I know. I've experienced it, and I don't lie either. Grow daily, think much, decide nothing alone ever, and don't say you can't know all... and you will. But the All is continuously expanding, continuously questioning, just like you. It also wants to know more about you. It has the same Everything within. It wants the same as you... to experience all that it is and to extend itself forever. It wants Joy Unlimited and it knows how to give itself that. Smaller versions of the All just needs a little guidance, a little direction from Others older, who have traveled the Path before us. That's what I think. That's what I know. Did that answer your question at all? I could sum it all up in one word. Fun.

(Proof positive that nitai777 is from another planet!) Sorry, kid, I just couldn't resist. I haven't been fed a straight line like that in days.
Yes, there is a universal motive, but no, all people do not believe in it. Free will is a two-edged sword, indeed!
God created mankind to be in fellowship with Him. Imagine, we gave up a great gig like that to settle for lives of bickering monotonous homogeneousness! What were we thinking? whatever it was we're still thinking it, because we haven't repented & accepted God's Will for our lives yet! We really have a lot of trouble with that whole learning from our mistakes thing, don't we?

I think one thing we all have in common is the desire to create. Us as creators draw upon an infinite source of energy to discover what our imaginations are capable of. In the act of creating we are in direct alignment with our innermost desires - which is in alignment with what we believe our purpose is. When we are in touch with our purpose we are in touch with the divine, and that is an awesome thing. Therefore - there is no pre-written purpose for our lives. Our mission is what we say it is and our lives are as abundant as we wish for them to be. Learning our deepest desires, our personal missions, then putting them into action - that will put us in touch with God, show God that we are grateful for the missions and talents we have recieved, and master the art of living. That's only my opinion, but it is reason enough for me.

Planet Earth is one among billions of other material planets that God created so that humans, envious of Him,can play the role of controllers! Here,we all want to imitate God,who lives in HIs spiritual planets, called Vaikuntha, where anxiety doesn't exist,as well as death. The material universes are also called martya lokas,or abodes of death,as we are all doted with material bodies, what are constantly dying, from the time we take birth,as our bodies are amde of temporary matter, whereas in the spiritual world, our bodies will be spiitual, not subject ot death,or decomposition. In the spiritual world, there are unlimited forms and characters, entities, just like here, but in a perfect condition, and they are not envious of the Supreme, who reigns with love among His friends. So, in order to go back there,we have to train ourselves to be loving among ourselves, including animals and plants, ask for forgiveness to God,worship Him,and constantly ask Him to re-engage us in His service,as service to illusory authorities doesn't bring any permanent joy.

I think we do have a higher purpose and that is to love God. If people don't believe they have a greater purpose then they really have no purpose.
