No contest. I would take poor and honest/caring any day of the week. There is only one person looking back at me in the mirror, and whether that person is rich or poor, I have to like her. If i was a user/abuser, I would hate the person in the mirror, and that is no way to live!
Thank God those are not the only two choices or I would have starved to death...ha ha.
