None. No matter what Foley did, the majority of homosexuals are not preditors.

How much SHOULD it have? It should get Foley kicked out, and it should impact the election of any party officer who knew about Foley's problems and did nothing about them. But it should not have an effect on the election of any other representative, since they had nothing to do with the scandal.
Unfortunately, the political machines will do their best to make Foley the poster-boy for the GOP, which will alienate Republican voters any might make them stay home on election day. And stopping a Republican from voting is as good as a vote.

The Foley scandal was created strictly to smear Republicans. A gay advocacy group was aware of Foley years ago, but decided to release the story 5 weeks before an election. This is a media engineered scandal and the ONLY intention is to demoralize conservatives.
Greg R: You are uninformed. "Consent" hardly makes the Clinton matter legit. Nevermind the fact that he committed adultery but as long as there was consent, it's ok?
THE PAGES HAD NOTHING TO CONSENT TO. FOLEY DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH THEM. Fool.

Tamiald is wrong. Clinton had sex with a consenting woman. Foley is all about underage boys. He has solicited them, whereas Monica volunteered. Plus, look at the number of Republicans who knew about Foley AND DID NOTHING.

If it does have an effect, I certainly hope it has an effect for all the political parties. I dont think it "should", but knowing how most people in this country respond to things sent out to the lowest common denominator, like a sex scandal, it probably will.

As for me: zippo on the sex scandal meter.
Remember, the Libs thought Clinton's own scandal should be swept away, forgotten and never, ever talked about again!
