A lot better, since it will be harder for Bush to get his legislation rubber stamped.

The people in the White House will have to show accountability and responsibility...

There has been too much "group think" in the White House. Whatever bush wants, whether it is good or not, he gets. No one is dissenting in Congress regarding what he wants.

Did he ever realize all of these rules he is making now will be used by presidents in the future, including Democratic Presidents?

It will ruin Bush's last 2 years in office. Its called being a lame duck president, when his Legislature is of a different party than the executive. It happened to Clinton in 94, and if it happens here in 2006, the results will be very similar. Two differening parties makes it very difficult for politics to progress as usual. He will not get as much legislation passed, and neither will congress, if a Dem victory happens.

If the democrats win either or both house there will be checks and balance restored to the government, as it is now with one party rule it resembles a dictatorship. The best legislation comes out of compromise and this has been missing these last 6 years.

The level of political venom will be even worse if that's possible. Expect dozens of Congressional investigations into everything Bush has ever thought said or done. Facts will not matter. Expect every presidential appointment to be stonewalled.
