Any time the mutual benefit scheme looks viable, the switch is on, and when there is just a bleak chance , the switch is dim, and when there is no sight of recognition, reward or any benefit, the switch is off... it is always so with the mind !
Only when the love becomes a personal quality, a way of being, irrespective of outside situation, then, the mind is just a mere tool to handle the situation, and for such a person love factor is too bright to be switched off, like a ever burning Sun !

It seems to me the love switch hasn't been turned on yet. Look at all that's going on in the world today and in the past. I wouldn't call that love! Maybe in the future we will see that love isn't a feeling or an action, it's what we are. Our spirit, our true self is love. Maybe we will, in the future, allow that light to shine to everyone in the recognition that we are all one. I hope so!

Love is eternal, it goes beyond death. There is no switch, unless it is one with a dimmer. I have terminated love willfully and the feeling came and went for at least a year (like grieving for a lost loved one) at random times. To be able to say I am over the love took years.

Isn't that like asking when will Castro become an American citizen?
