FOR THE SECOND EQUATION ONLY: there's a lot easier way of writing it, first of all (the * stand for "times" and "sqr" stands for "the square root of" -- same thing as radical sign):

4 * sqr(3^2) * 6 = 3

Let's start from the inside, like you say:

3^2 (3 squared) = 3*3 = 9, right? Ok, so let's rewrite the equation this far:

4 * sqr(9) * 6 = 3

Ok, so do you know what the sqr of 9 is? Well, I do. =) It's 3! So now let's put that in:

4 * (3) * 6 = 3

So, does 4 * 3 * 6 = 3? I don't think so! 4 * 3 * 6 is 12 * 6, which is 72! 72 does not equal 3.

So if I read all this correctly, that would make this whole thing FALSE.

Now try doing the first one on your own! It should go pretty quickly.
