Do you think the wii will be fun.?
my nephew 4, really wants a psp but the y dont have that good of games for him.i was thinking of buying him the wii for christmas if you dont think thats a good gift give me some ideas

yes, besides wii is WAY better that the PSP, plus it has a cool-looking remote, i'm giving one to my brother as a birthday, so yeah, go for it

O boy....
I remember when I was small how I wanted a Sega Genesis and game gear, but my parents got me an NES and a bunch of baby games. Simply put, I played them a lot longer than I would have played more complicated games since I was looking for a lot of stimulation and attention.
Regardless, the PSP is an expensive toy, but so is the Wii not to mention it's controller is going to be difficult to handle by such a little kid. Most of the games for PSP are pretty mature though (but if your 4 year old nephew's a bright yet good-spirited boy, he'd understand and be fine as long as he'd be supervised).
I'd try these out. They're good for little kids, yet interesting enough to hold his attention (links provided below in respective order): SuperMonkeyBall, Avatar the Last Airbender, PacMan World 3, and TokoBot.
All these games have simple mechanics and easy dynamics nor will you need to be concerned over them being disturbing.

if your nephew is 4, a psp wouldnt be for him. the wii is going to be a fun system that everyone will be able to play and its backwards compatible with the gamecube, and you can download video games from the past 20 years (old nintendo games included) which gives you almost unlimited gaming possibilities. the psp is geard twards teens/adults, not the greates for a 4 year old and they're expensive. but if he wants a hand held, the nintendo ds is great! i have one and i love it, inexpensive and there are a lot of games for it too, and it can play game boy advance games. theres a touch screen and many different kinds of games for it as well, and it has a great battery life, compated to the psp.

wii will probably have a lot of cartoonish games and will be expensive.. if your nephew is still young ,lets say 5 to 9, wii will be good but if hes 10 and older he wil probably get boerd of it fast
