Your best best is going to be visiting a doctor. A lot of places offer free pregnancy testing, or you could just visit your family doctor. If you go to a clinic, you should research it a little first, to make sure that they are not going to try to push you into something you don't want. Good luck with this!

I am a male but take my word for it i was a man whore at one point and had to buy and watch a lot of those tests. On the directions it says not to read results after 10 or 15 mins. That is the reason a pink line or + can show up even if you are not pregnant. I had that scare a few times in my younger years. But take another test first thing in the morning that is when they are most accurate. Oh btw i am not a man whore now and i have a baby girl. Funny how things work huh

Most of those test work from when you miss a period. Some work as early as 4 days BEFORE your missed period. If you took it early it's possible that the line was very faint since there was only a slight amont of the pregnancy hormone. The more days that go by the stronger the line will be if you are pregnant. If you see ANY line, no matter how faint, it indicates pregnancy.

Take another just to be sure, this one should be stronger.

Sounds like a "Congratulations" is in order!

Good luck,
Barb

Did that line show up after 10 minutes? If so it is an evaportion line..An invalid result. Do not ever read a test after 10 minutes. Almost always a positive result shows up right then, less than a minute.
You should re-test in the morning using your first morning urine and please just watch your test. I never walk off and leave a test. If you are pregnant it will show up quick. Whether it be very dark or faint.

First of all, odds are you ARE pregnant. When I got pregnant the same thing happened to me, and on the directions it said as long as one is visible AT ALL then that means you are. I had my doubts, so I went to a clinic. (planned parenthood), at which they charged me twice the amount I paid for the at-home test for the exact same test. At first they said no, I wasn't pregnant, but then they said I was. Bad experience. I say go to a gyno, not a clinic because half the time they have no idea what they're doing. Sorry if I sound negative or anything, I know how crazy a time this must be for you, but I wish you the best of luck!

The results are not accurate after this much time has passed. If you followed the instructions, and looked at the results after the required three minutes (or whatever your particular brand of test recommended), and you had a negative result, you are likely NOT pregnant.

Go visit your doctor or a clinic. They'll test you and give you a much more accurate result than these take home tests. You'll save yourself some aggravation and suspense of not knowing.

it's a really good idea to start planning and saving lots and lots of money, since you will more than likely need it in about 9 months.
