Yes, the food is greasy and fatty, but so are ton's of other food chains, why does Mc'D have the worst rep?

It's because they are one of the biggest chains and therefore get the most attention... Plus Morgan Spurlocks "Supersize me" documentary didn't help them much.

Though all fast food is greasy and fatty, McDonalds has the worst reputation because its the most noted fast food chain. The whole "Super Size Me" doesn't help either, but I don't see why everyone has to refer to that movie and using it against McDonalds. Morgan Spurlock's purpose for the movie was looking into obesity in America and targeting fast food corporations as a source. He prob. chose McDonalds because their all over the U.S. as certain fast food chains aren't. Besides, people say "Oh, Morgan almost died from eating McDonalds." Well, anyone who eats fast food 3 times a day everday for a month is going to get sick and gain weight. Its not just McDonalds, its all of them. I honestly don't see any harm in eatin fast food though. Its greasy and bad for you but I don't see any harm eating it every once in a while.

We have two McDonalds in our town. The one that has been here the longest is gross. Everytime I have ever had a cheeseburger there I was sick soon after. Their food taste like dog food and most everyone thinks so.

The other McDonalds that has only been open for a few years, is really great! I have never got sick from their food and it taste so much better. I don't know why that is but I am sure glad we have the new one.

I dont know, I think down here Burger King bites off more than McDonalds can chew. Burger King and McDonalds are always in compettiion but the dollar menu is where its at these days. If your dollar menu bites the big one then your customers will go elsewhere. I think McDonalds is better known for their reputation with the Make a Wish foundation and other charities, than their food.

because it's one of the top fast food chains & there's one within like every mile. Its publicized so much that people notice it more than if they would a smaller chain. I know a local fast food restaurant around my house thats like 10 times as greasy & "gross" as Mcdonalds, but no one will ever know because it's not "famous." Think of it like people: Celebrities like Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie...every little thing that they do goes on newspapers & tabloids yet if we do the same thing they did no photographer would even breathe our way...lol

It's probably the biggest chain fast food restaurant, the one that was featured in Super Size Me (which by the way, I think everyone should watch) and it is just plain gross! I don't eat any fast food and am a vegetarian. ♥

I agree with you and I guess my answer would be that maybe people have had exceptionally bad experiences at McDonalds in their neighborhoods. I think a restaurant is as good as the franchise owner and the one in my neighborhood grosses me out, but there's another one farther from my home that's better. I think Taco Bell, Jack in the Box and Burger King are gross.

Because McDonalds burgers are the ones that taste the LEAST like beef. Three are plenty of nastier fast food burgers out there but McDonalds is the most famous.

I think McDonald's is okay once in a while. Not always on an everyday basis. You don't want to clutch your heart one day and slip of a chair. Eat healthy foods - it can be made interesting and tasty too. Fast food is okay in moderation. Any food as a matter of fact is okay if you don't overeat/binge.

Many people and critics judge McDonald's because there are so many of them. They may just ride down the street and McDonald's is the first restaurant they see. For more McDonald's info you should watch the movie: Super size Me.

You said it yourself....the food is greasy and fatty. In the choice between McD's and Wendy's it like deciding which pile of vomit to eat!
