He talks about it several times in the Gospels. He doesn't mention gays even one time.

Te'Naj:
You ought to open the Bible. Jesus says that if a man divorces his wife and marries another, he is guilty of adultery. Women had not ability to divorce in His time.
Will:
Stating opinion in Biblical tone doesn't actually make it the word of God. Just like if you told someone you are a giant in a deep voice, you do not become larger than them.

You are right. I didn't remember the one flesh part. I shouldn't do this from memory and I shouldn't speak as though I have encyclopedic knowledge of the Bible. I apologize for my assertion about gays.

the crazy thing is that cannonical law provides for a divorce, but it is an extreemely involved process that takes a lot of time. In the early stages of Christianity, there were essentially spiritual lawyers that would enact a divorce. Consequently, only the rich could afford it. Not surprisingly, Italians voted overwhelmingly in favor of legalizing divorce in the 20th century. Also not surprisingly, the Church lobbied heavily against it but found little support despite 97% of the country being Catholic (abortion became a right around the same time too).
It is a crazy concept to have bible lawyers, but its the oldest legal system still in existence. If OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson can get off with good lawyering, ANY Christian can get a divorce and still go to heaven. I would like to see someone get into an argument with a cannon law lawyer over the bible. I think it would be funny but then boring.

His word is most important and I do not think the catholic church changed any wording in the bible they did however create the bible as we know it by picking out certain gospels to include. If there were any changes in actual text it is because of the translation and the hand written text pre printing press. well anyway I think God wants all to be married first and foremost to him however because of the physical yearnings we have he understands that we need a partner and thus another to continue on through nature a new life or life's via children. I think that God would like to end there but if you have valid reasons for divorce so be it. as far as remarriage (actually) he would then like full commitment to him but he to knows (really) you will recommit to remarry. Either way Jesus is all loving and will forgive all but those who forsake him!

Some Pharisees came to Him to test Him. They asked, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?"
"Haven't you read," He replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'[a] and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'[b]? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." ---Mark 19:3-6
This one passage says two things: that Jesus intended for marriages to be FOREVER (no divorce) and that marriage is between a man and a woman. He did not say that a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave unto his partner. Specifically, MAN and WIFE.
If you want Jesus' opinion, look at His Word.

t The Master said that only man could divorce his wife. He intend this to be between a man and a woman. Not between two of the same sex. God also wants people to be happy. So I believe that if two people are not happy and that there is some form of harm coming to one or the other than yes, Jesus died on the cross so that we could be forgiven.

sexual immorality is spoke about and homosexuality is mentioned also. God doesn't change his mind ever and when he destroyed the earth when Noah was on it. He hasn't changed. His stance on homosexuality he never changes. He always will be the same...look up sexual immorality. type it in your computer.

I believe Jesus died for our sins. I also believe that God forgives all except to deny Him. Man shall not lay with man nor woman with woman.
