When jennifer aniston, or pam anderson cant hold a guys attention- is there any hope for the rest of us?
And why do you do it ?
Is it a looks thing, or what reason?

I hate it when women just assume that all men, or even most men, cheat. I do not cheat, and I would not cheat. The only reason it seems so common is that it is impossible to gossip about couples being faithful to each other. Not that it's your fault that a man cheats, but if you are with a man who cheats on you then you picked the wrong man or you drove him away from you (probably just a bad selection). Good night!

No, not all men cheat.

It is an important decision though, that needs to be well thought off before even acting out upon the impulse of committing one.

By simplest term, if I decide to eat pizza instead of a nice rice meal for lunch, then it is entirely upon me to follow my cravings for that food and feast on the delectable meal.

In the same manner, when a guy thinks of hitting another woman whilst being in a relationship, then he takes it upon himself to be entirely responsible for whatever consequences it will bring him. In fact, HE SHOULD TAKE IT UPON HIMSELF TO BE RESPONSIBLE in the first place.

Much like everything else that we do to our lives, it's the choices that we make that makes us a better and stronger person, or the weak and defeated ones in the challenges posed to us - whether man or woman.

Jennifer Aniston and Pam Anderson are at least two different women that might be looking for different characteristics in the guys they wanna end up with.

But the thing there is, if after having several relationships [whether serious or short lived] already, and they are still looking for something, then it's not those guys that may have the problems.....it might be - THEM.......

It means they are not learning from their experiences. They just keep on wanting to have what they thought they should have in a relationship with a guy, rather than have a sense of contentment and satisfaction with the guys they are with.

Looking beyond the human frailties can make a relationship endure all the challenges, and not directly pinpoint the failure of relationship solely to us MEN who are honest enough to say to their women that "hey honey, I have been honest with you all these years, WERE YOU?".....

Not all men cheat, but I think a lot more men than women do. They do it for a lot of reasons. Some men still have a childish mentality and act on impulse, not thinking much about the consequences. Some do it just because they can. Some because they are afraid of commitment. And, of course some people in general (once again more men than women) just don't give a rat's a** about anyone else's emotions.

See I say this to your question: "YES" but mostly on a mental level.

Let me explain:

I think cheating on your spouse is one of the worst things you can do in this world. It means you are shattering the trust issues and intimacy in your couple. Basically you are sabotaging your relationship and there is no turning back.

Most males I know or known in the past have either been true cheaters (i.e. the guy gets a weekly "massage" without his GF's knowledge... we know what really happens at this "massage") or would-be cheaters if they allowed themselves... Basically the concept of remaining truthful to one woman is something of a guy trouble; difficulty to understand and more so to achieve.

In my case, I have never cheated on my wife; we broke up on an occasion back in the early/mid 90s and when we weren't a couple; I had various interpersonnal relationships with a few women... After which I finally discovered I had made the mistake of my life by letting my wife go...

But in a work of miracle, we got back together!

Since then I have NEVER had the slightlest urge to cheat... See, I doubt any other woman in the world could satisfy me the way my wife does...

Plus, if I would feel the need to "cheat" on her, all I (as of course relating to my non-traditional male role here) would need to do is look at p*rn and stuff like that because :
1) For some women (but NOT my wifey!), watching p*rnography is like cheating on them
2) For some women, watching p*rn means the woman is innadequate (which is again total bull in our case)

So basically, if I cheat on my wife it is only in my mind, and to be truthfull and honest, I can't even do that! Sure I fanatasize (Salma Hayek, for sh*t's sake!!!!) but that's only normal for any human, and it doesn't mean I WILL cheat just because I drool like a retard when I see Salma, for example...

Oh and by the way! Pamela isn't pretty; she just looks like a pornstar!

Many men do cheat, but there are some that are faithful to their wives and their wedding vows.

I guess men wants to cheat because they are selfish since they have a spouse at home they should've gone to for sex. They can always get caught for cheating and it is many times a good reasonable case for grounds of divorce or a break up.

Do you consider admiring an attractive other woman cheating? I don't. No man would. We men are programmed by nature to be visually cued towards mating. Monogamy is not a biological imperitive, but has evolved along with humans as one of the most efficient ways to ensure the proper care and rearing of children. There are other, equally efficient ways to meet that goal.
No, not all of us cheat. But any heterosexual male who tells you he has never thought about having an intimate relationship with a woman other than his wife is a flat-out liar. Thinking about it and doing it, don't forget, are two different things.
